Reconvening of the Adjourned Brooklyn Democratic Party Organizational Meeting on Monday, October 3, 2022

The Adjourned Organizing Meeting of the Kings County Democratic County Committee will reconvene on Monday, October 3rd, 2022, at 12:00 PM at the Marriott Hotel Brooklyn Bridge, located at 333 Adams Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201. The Adjourned Meeting will resume with the September 21st, 2022 agenda at the point when the meeting ended; it is not a NEW agenda. As per our Rules, for the purpose of organization, filling of vacancies, election of officers, Consideration of duly filed Rules amendment(s) and the transaction of such other business as may properly come before the meeting. The proxies that were filed on or before September 18th remain valid.
On-site Registration will commence at 11:00 AM.
Secure electronic balloting used at this meeting will be accessed through a device to be provided. For each question brought before the county committee that will need to be resolved by ballot, the time available for each vote shall not exceed (10) minutes. The results will then be tabulated and announced.
As per our Rules, the continued order of business shall be as follows:
1. Filling of Vacancies
2. Election of Officers
3. Consideration of duly filed Rules Amendment(s)
4. Report of Standing and Special Committees
5. Open Forum
6. Adjournment

43rd Assembly District Committee Kings County Democratic County Committee Special Meeting is to be held on Sunday February 20, 2022

The 43rd Assembly District Committee Kings County Democratic County Committee Special Meeting is to be held on Sunday February 20, 2022, at 1:00 pm EST. It will be held in person for the Committee members, and the public access to this Meeting will be available via social media outlets and live-streaming ONLY.

Because we cannot guarantee that the space available for this Meeting can safely accommodate all Committee members and the public while affording healthy, code-compliant indoor air quality, the public access will be through livestream/virtual access only.

Special Election – 60th Assembly District

On Sunday, January 16th, at 1 p.m., the Brooklyn Democratic Party will convene with county committee members of the 60th Assembly District for a vote to fill the vacancy in the Legislature in accordance with the Governor’s Proclamation.

Only county committee members residing in the 60th AD are qualified to vote in this election.  If you are a non-voting member of the public, we invite you to join us via livestream. Voting members have received detailed instructions in the mail.
